UNAIDS MENA RST is organizing a training of trainers workshop with the Regional Arab Network Against AIDS (RANAA)for regional civil society organizations working in nascent programmes with men who have sex with men to help improve the quality of their activities and strengthen their programmes. CSOs and representatives from affected populations from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, and Yemen will be participating in the TOT to build their capacities in comprehensive HIV programming for MSM, including the monitoring and evaluation component which is a major gap in existing programmes. The training content is based on UNAIDS 2012 Guidelines titled “HIV and Outreach Programmes with Men who have Sex with Men in MENA; From a Process of Raising Awareness to a Process of Commitment”.
