Between the 29th of July and the 1st of August, the UNAIDS Gender Equality and Diversity division will hold a capacity building workshop of regional consultants to build regional capacity on the undertaking of Gender Assessment of National HIV responses, so as to provide timely and quality support countries undertaking a review and/or development of their National Strategic Plans and Global Fund proposal, as part of its New Funding Model. The gender assessment is part of a comprehensive approach adopted by UNAIDS and partners to move towards gender transformative HIV responses.
