UNAIDS RST MENA retreat will be held to review progress in the region in 2012 against vision and targets. Team building and skills sessions will be held to improve synergy among the team and enhance performance. Primarily, the 2013 work plan will be reviewed to focus activities towards the regional priorities with the emphasis on reducing sexual transmission of HIV and increasing universal access to antiretroviral therapy for people living with HIV who are eligible for treatment. All other universal targets will be further reviewed and strategies developed for implementation within MENA for the final year of the biennium.
